are an organic brewing supply shop based in Lansing, Michigan.
We are currently at the Lansing City Market and we will soon have ordering available online. We are focused on providing a great variety of organic and sustainable
products. We thrive on brewing our own beer, there is nothing like it!
We also have a strong passion for protecting the environment.
We
feel that organic and sustainable ingredients give you the fullest,
truest flavored beer without all the residual chemicals one would find
in conventionally grown ingredients. So brew like your
ancestors....brew organic!

Our Mission
Our prime directive is to
provide every customer with a positive experience. Every member of the Materagaia family is empowered to ensure that
our customer is an extended member of the family. Additionally, we would like to help make the world a better place by touching people’s lives in a
positive way everyday even if they are not our customer. Furthermore, it is our
goal to also to provide excellent stewardship for the earth by adopting the
Natural Step framework, which basically states:
In a sustainable society, people are not subject to conditions that systematically undermine their capacity to meet their needs. In order for a society to be sustainable, nature's functions and diversity are not systematically:
- Subject to increasing concentrations of substances extracted from the the earth's crust.
- Subject to increasing concentrations of substances produced by society.
- Impoverished by physical displacement, over-harvesting, or other forms of ecosystem manipulation.
We
hope to accomplish our mission and improve the home brewing culture by selling
organic products and advocating sustainability, environmental awareness, and
altruism.
